Description

The seigneury of Fléchères was acquired by Jean de Sève in 1606, who had the castle built between 1606 and 1620. The greatness of its global structure, as well as the finesse of its architecture and its interior development, make it one of the most important buildings in the region, testifying to the 17th century civil architecture. The farm, built in adobe, consists of four buildings surrounding a courtyard. Contemporary at the castle, it kept its main original characteristics despite modifications made in the 19th century. We can still see in the old park the first terrace garden south of the castle, vestiges of the basin of a second terrace, as well as the components of the hydraulic system.
