The original construction dates from the middle of the 12th century and was modified during the modern period. The original vaults of the nave were replaced by vaults and double plaster arches. The external foothills have been removed. The coverings and windows have been renovated or altered. The two levels of the bell tower, which may be inspired by ancient forms, are also a modern creation. Only the choir (12th century) and the west portal (13th century) retained their integrity.
