Description

The chapel was built in the 18th century, near a ruined chapel. About in 1730, the bishop of Tulle allowed the brotherhood of white penitents to settle in Corrèze and to build a new chapel after the destruction of the old one. The work began in 1758. In 1793, the chapel was closed and transformed into a club. It was given to the penitents in 1819, when the decorative paintings of the choir were carried out. The chapel has a rectangular shape, with a square nave and a narrower choir, accompanied by sacristies. A gallery, supported by four columns, extends on the sides and above the entrance. The western facade is surmounted by a hexagonal bell tower with a six -sided roof.
