Description
The manor of Lesmoal was built in the 16th century by Maurice Mérier and his wife Julienne de Quélen. During the revolution, the manor and the Lesmoal farm were put on sale as national goods. The ground floor includes a kitchen, a dining room and a living room, while above, there are three bedrooms and three attics under a slate roof, as indicated by the sales contract dated 12 Thermidor year IV. It is accessible by a spiral staircase located at the rear of the building and is distinguished by a fountain located inside the room. La Grange is a memory of the old flax treatment activity that has continued from the end of the Middle Ages until the 17th century. The dovecote, whose door is decorated with the coat of arms of Lesmoal, is remarkably well constructed and is considered one of the most beautiful in Trégor, as mentioned by the Mérimée Pa22000005 notice.
