Description
The bell tower of the chapel dates back to the end of the 18th century. It is a square tower on two levels, surmounted by a high octagonal hook arrow inspired by medieval models. The lower part has a classic architecture. Inside, the wooden vault is decorated with paintings. This decoration, created between 1723 and 1726, is distinguished by its local character and constitutes an interesting artistic whole, enriched by the vestiges of a rose, altarpieces and other decorative elements. The paintings of the choir illustrate the life of Sainte-Suzanne, while the transept and the nave show scenes from the life of Christ. On the western wall of the northern cross, there is one in front of a carved wooden rostrum, probably from the 16th century, decorated with small panels representing different scenes of passion.
