Description
The estate includes a master's house dating from the 19th century, as well as a double common courtyard surrounded by walls with two opposite doors. The first courtyard houses a courtyard, an oven, a wash house, a dovecote, barns and stables. The second court includes a courtyard and a home. The walls are built by alternating rows of pebbles and rubble. The house was modified in the 19th century, when it was acquired by the Baron de Coston, an officer under Napoleon. The residence presents itself as a bourgeois house of square shape, with two imposing entries, to the west and the east. Inside, a piece on the ground floor is decorated with five panels covered with marouflaged canvases. These works, produced by Claudius Pizetta, illustrate landscapes of Italy, Brittany, Normandy as well as Fables de la Fontaine.
