Description
The 18th century chapel consists of a nave of two sections with aisles, a transept with arms and a choir which has a straight part with aisles and ends with a hemicycle-shaped apse. The nave is covered by a cradle vault with cylindrical openings. At the crossroads of the transept, there is a spherical dome supported by the vaults of the transepts. The entire building is built in granite up to the level of the large arcades, then in limestone. The interior is decorated with pilasters and Doric cornices with triglyphs. Outside, the facade is embellished by elements of Doric and Ionic architecture. This construction was carried out according to the plans and drawings of Father Martellange, inspired by the Chapel model, currently missing, of the company's novitiate located in Paris, rue du Pot-de-Fer.
