Description
This group of buildings includes two interior lessons. The East section, behind the large staircase at the end of the second courtyard, was used in the 15th century as a lodge for merchants. In 1441, this lodge bore the name of "Lombards". There remains a window of this lodge, probably dating from 1404-1441. The western part extends between the second courtyard and the Place des Halles, and includes a large staircase in Galeries whose construction goes up slightly before 1658. This staircase, with straight flyers, has two levels. The supports have square symmetrical double bail squares. It is well lit by large crawling arcs superimposed on the courtyard. The interior courtyard is connected to the main entrance by a corridor, a first courtyard and an intermediate corridor between the two courses. It has access to the west at Place des Halles, via a direct corridor. A side entrance, to the northeast, crosses the vestibule and the staircase of the house bearing n ° 3. In the 19th century, this interior courtyard was reduced due to the construction of a storage room occupying the whole northwest part.
