Description
Since the 14th century, this site has belonged to the Isalguier family, a line of Capitouls. The current building, built at the beginning of the 19th century, was probably produced by Jacques Fajon. With a symmetrical design, the hotel presents, on the facade overlooking the street, a romantic element, with arched windows and decorative ironwork. A porch, surmounted by a balustrade, leads to a courtyard. The two front of the caretaker boxes at the entrance and a suspended metal gateway connect the east and west wings of the building. Inside, the decoration is made up of woodwork and staff. In the southwest corner is an almost helical staircase, painted in false marble and adorned with niches.
