Description
Rebuilt between 1699 and 1700, the mill, whose origins date back to the 14th century, is located in En Agasse, or de Nagasse, and belonged to the goods of the Archbishops of Toulouse. It was a noble good whose owner had to pay tribute to the Lord bishop. In 1574, he was detained by a certain Verdiguier, a sheet merchant in Toulouse. From the 16th century, a continuous line of millers worked there. The mill was renovated in 1699-1700 to grind flour. In 1821, he also had an oil press. In 1878, he owned two pairs of grinding wheels activated by trompe wheels, operating under a waterfall of 3 meters 75, producing a power of 3 horsepower. After stopping grinding shortly before the First World War, the mill was transformed into farm. It is fully built in bricks, with a square shape, and only has a water input. It was restored after being classified for its protection.
