Description
The Cistercian abbey was founded in 1150, but there is nothing left of its original structures. A new building was finished in the 14th century, but it was looted a century later. During the Revolution, the abbey was converted into agricultural exploitation, then it was attributed to the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul congregation. In 1975, the nave, which had collapsed, was demolished, and the dovecote was integrated into a concrete module. Today, only the bedside and the transept of the abbey church remains. The convent dates from the 17th century, and the cloister area is visible thanks to obstructed arcades. Inside, there is a straight staircase embellished with a 17th century ramp and stucco decorations dating from the 18th century.
