Description
The existence of this church is probably linked to the presence of the ancient archbishops of Auch, who owned the Lamaguère feudal castle in the Middle Ages. Two chrismes decorate the tympanum of the two entrance doors. The nave is higher and more elongated than in most of the Romanesque churches in the Gers region. It ends with a semi-circular apse. The small openings located in height could indicate that it was a fortified church. The current vault dates from the 19th century.
