Description

In 1780, the owner asked for permission from the Grands Voyers de France to build a Flemish door at his house. The interior frame, in the shape of a basket handle, connects by a concave vault to the exterior frame which is rectangular, in a device to be returned. The key, which is massive, has a large flat projection on the top, as well as another inside, these two surfaces being connected by a bevel. The impostment, in wrought iron, is made up of C -shaped scrolls surrounding an oval medallion containing a losantic strap. Sheet macaroons cover the eyes of side scrolls. Below, in the center, a sheet of sheet metal, rolled up and folded, imitates a falling fabric bordered by fringes, with a relief decor representing branches of Olivier.
