Description
The castle was established at the end of the 12th century by the lords of Tunténiac. We can still see two laps of that time, although they were changed later. One of them has impressive vestiges of 14th century baths. The Châtelet was rebuilt in the 15th century, just like the assistant chapel. After the defensive function was abandoned in the 17th century, the current accommodation, located between the Tours and the Châtelet, was built in the 18th century. Part of this building was rebuilt in the 19th century following a fire.
