Description
This priory was part of the Abbey of Bourgueil. It was established in the 11th century by Lovo and his brother Rahier. The priory, which was fortified, was supervised by moat, one still exists in the east. A sleeping bridge provides access to the door, whose side walls, now partially ruined, are pierced with loopholes. The priority of the prior presents, on the courtyard side, a door decorated with coat of arms which have been altered, and on the first floor, there are two windows, one of which has a sculpted frame and decorated with cherubs. The chapel at the corner has been transformed into a discount. South of the convent, we can still see the barn, which is made up of three naves of five spans each.
