Description
The convent was established in 1626 by Archbishop Bertrand d'Eschaux. In 1794, he became the hospice of Chinon. The four wings extend on both sides of the square cloister of the cloister, whose galleries are opened by semicircular arcades. The chapel is located to the east. It included an unwelcome nave, followed by a rectangular vaulted choir of warheads. The facades and the chapel roof were destroyed following a fire in 1980.
