Description

In the 18th century, the estate belonged to the family of Louis Berlioz, who was the father of Hector Berlioz. The constructions were carried out during different phases, between 1820 and 1830. The farm consisted of two parallel buildings on each side of an elongated courtyard. The walls are made of pebbles and adobe. The building to the south includes, on the side of the courtyard, a hangar with a window above, cellars and attics. Upstairs, Ms. Berlioz's Magnanerie is accessible by a wooden staircase outside. The building in the north houses the stable, the clerk's room, a mill, a stable, a chicken coop, a coacher, a pyre, a dryer, a drinking and a window. Below this building, a covered passage with a staircase leads to a vine area and an orchard.
