Description
Residence of the Viscounts of Blois from the 10th to the 16th century. The castle was demolished by Louis XI during the wars of the League. This manor, which represents several eras, consists of a main building to which various constructions are linked. The masonry facade on the park is attributable to the 17th century. On each side, there are brick turrets. On the right, a wing seems more recent, decorated with a third turret on its right. The rear facade, overlooking the courtyard, includes a polygonal staircase tower. The left side facade, dating from the 16th century and probably linked to Anne de Montmorency, has been modified in places. Above the front door of this facade is a kind of closed, advanced loggia, supported by four crows. A square corner tower is on the left of this facade. In the vegetable garden, you can see a circular pigeonnier.
