Description
A pylon type wind machine was designed by the hydraulic engineer E. LEBERT, who has held the patents of Auguste Bollée since 1898. This wind turbine was installed in 1911 and was inaugurated on March 17, 1912. It provided drinking water to the village of Euisay and also fueled its municipal washhouse. A 200 cubic meter tank, built in reinforced concrete and bricks, was located on the ground to guarantee a water supply when the wind was missing. Measuring 21 meters high and equipped with a 5 -meter diameter turbine, this wind turbine was used until 1967.
