Description
To the west of the vestiges of the Romanesque church stands a two -story house, probably built in the 15th century, known as the King's house. The legend says that Pépin le Bref would have stayed there after a pilgrimage to Conques. The ground floor is made of stone, just like the rear part of the building. The other three sides have a first floor and wooden side gables, which are cantilever. On the north side, the roof was renovated in the 17th century, at the same time as the wooden part of the lateral facade on the same side.
