Description

The Pigeonnier-Fontaine is linked to the mansion of prints. It was a 17th century building that served as a residence. The upper level was dedicated to the dovecote. In fact, it is rather a small construction with a staircase turret, and the traces of painted decorations, the stone chimney and the ground floor make it a living space which goes beyond the usual function of a rural and utilitarian building. The living room is arranged under the attic and above a vaulted space which serves as a tank to supply a pool under the window. The many functions of this pavilion make it unique, not corresponding to the classic typology of the pigeon fires.
