Description
The house consists of two wings forming a right angle, with a square staircase tower which exceeds the roof in the place where the two wings meet. There is a residential space associated with the staircase tower, as well as another wing which acts as a stable, on which a barn rests, probably rebuilt in the 18th century on the foundations of an older building. The residential wing has, on the south side, a tower intended for pigeons. The door of the staircase tower is decorated with keyboards arranged in angle trompe, known as "under the corner", creating the illusion that it supports the weight of the tower. The interior structure of the house is well preserved: there are chimneys on the ground floor and in the bedrooms, as well as an access door decorated with a hug and cavets, datables of the end of the 15th century or the beginning of the 16th century. This notable house is unique by presenting a square tower with a particular care given to the door and to the cross window located at the corner. In addition, it is one of the few houses to have retained its original height.
