Description

The town hall was built between 1901 and 1909 by the Nancy architect and engineer Henri Gutton, who is also linked to the Nancy school. It was made of Euville stone, located in one of the richest villages in France thanks to its stone careers. The Art Nouveau style decor includes several renowned artists from the Nancy school: Eugène Vallin has produced the sculpture, Louis Majorelle designed the lights, Emmanuel Champigneulle and Jacques Gruber worked on stained glass, and Edgar Brandt, originally from Paris, created the staircase ramp.
