Description
This fortress was erected at the end of the 15th century according to a V plan, a wing of which remains and was modified between the 17th and the 19th century. The tower of the Châtelet, part of the northern châtelet, as well as the curtain wall, are elements of original. The work carried out during the second quarter of the 19th century represents one of the first projects of castles of castles in the 19th century in Brittany. This building is a major representative of the great Breton fortresses and also illustrates the evolution of the housing of the nobility in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.
