Description
The church was erected during a period of economic growth and a sharp increase in the city's population, in the second half of the 19th century. Built in bricks, it was dedicated to worship in 1863. Its architectural style joined elements of the ancient arts, notably Roman, Gothic and Byzantine. Completely equipped with its furniture and decorated with beautiful stained glass, the church illustrates a key phase of the industrial history of Roubaix.
