Description
This house was erected in 1913 for a circus balancing prince. It is made of wood, a material often chosen for temporary constructions in non -constructible areas surrounding military installations. According to oral tradition, the name "Villa Moscovite", written on a panel above the entrance, was inspired by a visit to Tsar Alexandre III in Dunkirk. In 1925, the house was enlarged with a reinforced concrete structure which imitates wood and served as a gym.
