Description

This former mansion, located in the Renaissance district, was built in two distinct phases. At the beginning of the 16th century, the street facade and the staircase turret was erected. At that time, the two entrance doors were intended for two adjoining hotels, one being superimposed on the other. Their medieval style, typical of the 14th century, testifies to the continuity of ancient forms, perceptible in the first decades of the 16th century. In the 17th century, the buildings that overlooked the courtyard were rebuilt, with a loggia staircase. The interiors were then redeveloped in the 18th century and during the Empire. The gateway toys come from the 19th century. A main portal (n ° 21) leads to an interior courtyard through a covered passage. The southern facade on the street consists of two spans built separately, corresponding to the entries of houses n ° 21 and 23. House n ° 23 is accessible by a staircase turret which is in front of the interior courtyard.
