Description

This viaduct is on the train line between Villefranche-de-Conflent and Bourg-Madame, known as the Cerdagne line (or "little yellow train"). This is a metric spacing route with an electric traction, built between 1903 and 1910 under the direction of the engineer Jules Lax of the Compagnie des Railways du Midi. The viaduct was built between 1907 and 1908 by the engineer Paul Séviséné, which earned him the current name of Pont Séténéné. This two -level structure spans the Têt and the RN 116. Built in masonry, it measures 217 meters long on a straight route with a slope of 6%. The two cups that flank the central section of the viaduct are decorated with cantilevered slots at the top.
