Description

The church, which includes a nave and a choir from the 19th century, received a new facade with bell tower-porche, designed by architects Charles Duval and Emmanuel Gonse between 1929 and 1931, following the destruction of the First World War. This facade made of reinforced concrete and covered with bricks is inspired by the churches of the Perret brothers. The sculptures present on the facade are the work of Raymond Couvègnes, the murals were carried out by Henri Marret, and the mosaics of the altar are of Jean Gaudin. The stained glass windows of André Rinuy and Jean Hébert-Stevens were destroyed in 1940 and were replaced after the war by those of Raoul Cagnart.
