Description
In the 15th century, Trévien was part of the barony of Monestiés and was the property of vassal lords of the Bishop of Albi. The castle has a quadrilateral shape, with a round tower at each corner, one of which is in cantilevered. A large circular tower is hung in the center of the eastern facade and contains a spiral staircase. Although the openings have been widely modified, some Gothic style windows remain visible. The vaulted cellars are connected by arched doors in large stone. Inside, there are marble or wood chimneys of Louis XV and Louis XVI styles, a marble fountain on the first floor, as well as painted ceilings on the second floor.
