Description
The national square is an attractive set of houses whose ground floor is made up of a double vaulted gallery supported by crosses in warheads. The three floors are organized regularly, with the exception of the top floor where the openings alternate between rectangular and circular. Some of these houses display the dates of 1516 and 1556. This architectural project was carried out by the Toulouse architect Pierre Besneville. All of the constructions are made of bricks, with the exception of the keys of arcs, vaults and window supports.
