Description
The Château de Fougeret was erected at the end of the 15th century (or at the beginning of the 16th) then underwent modifications at the end of the 19th century in a neo-Gothic style, troubadour. Inside, you can admire superb decorative elements such as wall frescoes, adorned and painted flat vaults, a mosaic, a woodwork, an imposing carved stone fireplace, as well as a stone staircase with a bulustrade in filling, very typical of the Gothic style. The windows have stonemakers. This building is part, like several other castles with various styles, in the spirit of the engravings of Gustave Doré, which evoke the clichés of the Château de Contes de fairy.
