Description

The archaeological analysis of the building reveals three main construction periods: in the 15th and 16th centuries, then in the 19th and 20th centuries. A first rectangular building located to the north, accompanied by a tower in the south, was still visible on the cadastral level of 1837. This wing, almost completely destroyed, was probably partially rebuilt at the end of the 19th century or at the beginning of the 20th century. A second building was added to the East, by forming a right angle. Today, the area is made up of noble and agricultural constructions: the house and its outbuildings, surrounded by an almost entirely disappeared enclosure, with the exception of a few sections of walls, a partly ruined tower in the southwest and a classic entrance gate. The outbuildings, made up of two wings forming a right angle, have openings comprising reused elements (moldings). They supervise a courtyard located in the south and west. The main wing (east) of the house is a three -level building, with mullioned skylights to the east. The oriental facade is divided into two sections separated by three bunk windows, decorated with moldings and with a ward and crossing in stone. The western facade, less uniform, has different openings, including a window with reused moldings. To the north, there is the stair tower in rubble, half ruined. The interior is organized on two stages unequally distributed: in the north, a vestibule leading to the stairs and the chapel lit by a gamin bay; In the south, a large room housing three monumental chimneys dating from the 15th century. The attic containing a chevron frame with farm. This house is very representative of the small homes and manors of the 15th century in the region. It is also a relatively rare example in the south of Vienna.
