Description
A document from the Dorat chapter, dated August 19, 1295, mentions the mill and its outbuildings. Depending on its characteristics, the bridge was probably erected in the 13th or 14th century. It has three semicircular arches, with the central arch being higher and wider than the others. The construction of arches uses a blocked banner technique, frequently used between the 12th and 18th century. The batteries are protected by two almond-shaped pre-likely, typical of the 13th and 14th centuries. On each side, a continuous line in size stones, in the shape of a donkey, passes over the vaults and the pre-belts, stretching from one abutment to another, delimiting the location of the old apron. The variation in masonry indicates that there has been repair work. The pre-BECS do not have hoods. Their summits are horizontal, which suggests that there have been pedestrian shelters in an earlier era, which were removed during repairs. The apron is no longer in the shape of a donkey. Lateral abutments include walls in oblique wings.
