The cross is designed according to the reasons for the Louis XVI era. It is made up of a small wrought iron cross, surmounted by a traditional rooster. This cross carries the various instruments of passion. It is distinguished from other similar crosses by two characteristics: a representation of one hand near the sting and an image of the crucified Christ, without the cross which supports it. The cross is placed on a Doric column with a pedestal and a base.
