Saint-Front : Saint-Front Church

Church built in the 12th century, which was reshaped until the 15th century and fortified during the Hundred Years War. It was built above a natural cave potentially used as crypt. Its plan is in the shape of a cross. The first span under the bell tower is surmounted by a dome based on pendants. The nave has three spans of ribs dating from the 13th century. In the square of the transept, there are round columns of Romanesque style backed by pilasters. The flat bedside is decorated with flamboyant decorations from the 15th century. The square in shape stands on two floors above the facade. The second floor on each side is pierced with two three -sided with broken arc. On the south side, a square turret houses the spiral staircase of the bell tower. There is also a murderous in the shape of a cross. The bases of the walls have remained intact since the Romanesque time.
