Description
This house, known as "Hotel Allenet", takes its name from the mayor of Cognac of 1582, whose residence was located nearby. The Renaissance style niche, dug at the corner of the two facades of the hotel, was erected on the orders of A. Allet. On rue des Cordeliers, the facade has a large arch opening in basket handle, which was the old window of a shop. On the side of rue de l'Isle d'Or, the facade has a non -linear form. A wide opening with a bow hound is placed very close to the ground. Next to this opening, a stone fireplace projects on the wall, positioned in height. Not far from there, there is a kind of turret, slightly in protruding, above a small opening.
