Description
The hotel was demolished after the registration of 1932. Only the door would have been preserved, but when it withdraws, the coat of arms became the only saved element. Apparently sculpted at the beginning of the 20th century to replace the coat of arms of the family which owned the hotel, the coat of arms that we keep today shows the coat of arms of the city of Brive-la-Gaillarde, composed of nine golden ears arranged in three lilies. These coat of arms are surrounded by two branches of leaves and surmounted by three crenellated towers representing the city walls. A three corrugated curvature molding overcomes everything, adorned with a palmette in the center. With the destruction of the door, the demolition of the building was decided.
