Description
In 1635, the Duke of Ventadour sold the building to the city consuls to establish ducal justice. Then, the former college, founded in 1579 by Gilbert de Léon, Duke of Ventadour, remained there until 1791. After that, the civil court settled there until 1825, the year the city proposed to the department to transfer the building to establish the sub-prefecture. The buildings were bought by the town in 1884. The renaissance style entrance door presents pilasters and a pediment, surmounted by a Renaissance style crusader.
