Description
The village was previously an annex to the priory of Port-Dieu. Subsequently, the parish was integrated into the bishopric of Tulle. The Romanesque church, built in granite, has a portal with several lobes, protected by a deep porch with a arch in the end. It includes a single nave and a choir which ends with a semi-circular apse with a cul-de-four vault. A chapel is in the south, opening in the third span of the nave, and it is connected to a second chapel which overlooks the choir. A triumphant arch in full shift, based on half-columns with carved capitals (representing heads, leaves and flowers), separates the nave from the choir. The capitals of the apse are also decorated with sculptures (palmettes and stars interlacing).
