Description
The manor is erected on a rocky promontory that overlooks the Rance estuary, which suggests that it was an old barred spur. This place testifies to an ancient defensive occupation, with a feudal clod located at the entrance to the promontory. The main building, elongated, was built in the second half of the 16th century. Its front facade has a staircase of polygonal and then square in shape, as well as carved decorations of Renaissance style. In the 18th century, the manor was enlarged with two small low wings and underwent interior redevelopments. A new chapel has been built, and terrace gardens as well as a walk were created. Several dependencies have been preserved, including some dating from the 19th century and an old dovecote.
