Description
The castle shelters a vaulted room with warheads, with third-party doors and archères, dating from the 13th century, as well as a dungeon. The facade is included twinned windows, Bretches and crusaders recreated identically. The castle is made up of several structures which are not all of the same era. The low rooms, located north and east of the interior courtyard, seem to come from the end of the 13th century. On the other hand, the parts raised south and west of the courtyard seem older. Part of the walls of the original fortified door was built from recovered blocks from the Roman aqueduct of Nîmes. Near the entrance leading to the basement are the ruins of a medieval press, used for oil or wine.
