Description
The chapel of the Count of Counts of Comminges was inside the walls of the castle and was destroyed at the same time as the latter. It consisted of a rectangular nave. On the side, there was a large Gothic style gate, the archivolt of which was decorated with toric moldings which extended those of the uprights, separated by a horizontal cord decorated with foliage, serving as a marquee with two small columns. Inside the church, you could see sculpted capitals and baskets. On the facade is a bell tower-arcade of Romanesque style, surmounted by a pointed top and pierced with three semicircular arcades arranged in triangular formation. At the beginning of the 20th century, the chapel still presented vestiges of painting.
