Description
Exploited since the 16th century, sources experienced a notable crowd in the second half of the 19th century, continuing until the 1930s. Famous for their benefits to malaria, they notably attracted a colonial clientele. Several establishments opened their doors before the current building, designed by the architect Terrade, was erected in 1882. In the 1970s, the transformation into a holiday center led to the abolition of facilities and equipment linked to thermal baths. The frescoes of Nicolas Greschny, made in the early 1950s, made the refreshment bar the best vestige of the old thermal function of the place.
