Description
Romanesque church, modified in the 17th century. The building includes a nave and a semi-circular apse covered with a cul-de-four vault. Gallo-Roman tombstones have been reused in the southwest corner of the building. The south side has a front door, the tympanum of which is decorated with a relief chrism. Inside, the nave is dressed in paneling and has a polygonal arch vault, the result of 19th century restoration works. These works also affected the painted decoration, aimed at harmonizing the old frescoes and the new decoration. Certain murals, notably that of the cul-de-four representing a dove of the Holy Spirit in a cloud, as well as two large musician angels, were preserved without retouching. The side walls of the apse are integrated with a trompe-l'oeil effect similar to a altarpiece.
