Description
Of Roman origin, the church was modified in the 19th century. The initial plan was in the form of a parallelogram, with a circular apse to the west. Two aisles were added later to the nave. Several architects, including Hosteing, Pierre Brun and Jean-Jules Mondet, have led the 19th century work. The walls of the apse, which is vaulted in a cul-de-four, are decorated with a double arcature richly decorated with characters, leaves and animals on capitals, impostments and bodies.
