The field of maps was already established in the 12th century. In 1105, it was granted to the Abbey of Marmoutier. In the 18th century, the current castle was built, made up of a central building flanked by two pavilions slightly protruding on each facade. To the west and east, two wings extend the main building. The facades of the central main building are segmented in three spans by pilasters, supporting a triangular pediment above the central span.
