Description
The Bastide of Hastingues, located on the border of the Basque Country, dates from the 13th century and is on a promontory overlooking the valley. The house known as Jurats is located on the southwest side of the square. It has a rectangular shape and is currently divided into two sections, one of which is in poor condition. You can see traces of arcades walled on the facade overlooking the place. Moad windows from the upper floors as well as the staircase turret show that it was built in several phases in the 15th and 16th centuries.
