Description
The abbey was established in the 12th century by Benedictine monks. From this period, the church survived, although it was endowed with a frame in the 15th century. The abbey followed the Maurist reform, which led to the reconstruction of convent and cloister buildings in the 18th century (in 1743). It was sold as a national property during the Revolution.
