Description
The Moulin de la Ramée was probably built in 1567, as indicated by a date engraved above a coat of arms on the lintel of its southern door. Its functioning ceased around the middle of the 20th century, and its roof was restored around 1980. The mill tower, made of granite rubble, with two floors and is wearing a conical roof in chestnut shingles. He misses his wings, because the head of the tree was cut. All its internal mechanisms are always present, and it is equipped with a single pair of grinding wheels. Thanks to the widening of its talled base which forms an overflowing seat, this mill is part of the architectural tradition of the Moulins du Sillon de Bretagne and the Pays de Guérande, where this characteristic is common in the 15th and 16th centuries.
